This temple is located on the mall road of Patiala city and is just a 5-minute walk from the railway station


This temple was built by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala in 1936. He brought six feet tall statues of Maa Kali (Goddess Kali) and Pawan Jyot (sacred light) from West Bengal to Patiala.
Because of the temple’s beautiful infrastructure and architecture, it has been declared as a is National Monument of India.
